Monthly Intensives

The Oxford Dance Forum Steering Group is delighted to announce the Autumn term of the Dance Forum's Professional Development Programme.

The intensives below will take place at various venues in Oxford city. Each venue is easily accessible with fully equipped dance studios.

Please find below full details of teachers for each month's intensive, open to experienced dance artists, for September – December 2007.

When & Who...

SUNDAY 23 September (11.00am – 5.00pm)

Gaby Agis (Skinner Release Technique)

Venue: Dance Studio – Blackbird Leys Leisure Centre. Cost: £25 (£20 concs)

SUNDAY 28 October (1.00pm – 3.00pm)

Dinah Siman (Gyrotonic(R) Movement System)

Venue: West Oxford Community Centre, Botley Rd. Cost: £10 (£8 concs)

The workshop will be followed by an 'Artist's Update' meeting with South East Dance (Brighton) - details below

SUNDAY 9 December (10.00am – 3.30pm)

Susan Schell (Authentic Movement)

Venue: Dance Studio – Blackbird Leys Leisure Centre. Cost: £25 (£20 concs)

ARTIST'S UPDATE

South East Dance would like to invite dancers to an Artists Update on Sunday 28th October at West Oxford Community Centre, Botley Road, Oxford OX2 0BT. The aim of the evening is to provide emerging and established dance artists and choreographers working in the South East region with more information about our work.

The Artists Update is from 15.30- 18.00 . You are also welcome to invite artists to event who are not currently known to us by sending this invitation to them and copying in: [email protected]

The Artists Update is intended to provide a forum to update you on last year’s successes and achievements, our plans for the next two to three years and to let you know where we are with our conversations with Brighton and Hove City Council about the development of The Dance Space as part of the Circus Street Development. There will also be an opportunity for questions and discussion during the evening and opportunities for networking.
